Small Research Project funding call: Successful applications

Decarbonising UK Freight Transport (DUKFT) is pleased to announce the funding of two projects following the second round of our Small Research Project funding call.

All the applications we received were of a very high standard, and these two projects have been determined to be best able to answer the research questions set by the DUKFT research themes.

Multi-Modal Operations and Infrastructure Modelling‘, Philip Greening, Heriot Watt University

Examine the feasibility and investment required for ports to act as decarbonisation hubs‘, Stavros Karamperidis, University of Plymouth

DUKFT has now completed its commissioning phase and awarded nearly £400,000 in funding to six different projects. The outcomes of all of the projects will feed into the work of DUKFT and contribute to unlocking investment in the decarbonisation of freight transport in the UK.

Further details of all the projects funded by DUKFT can be found on our Funded projects page.
